International Centre for Integral Studies: Courses

The course (60 days; 6 Credits) introduces the basics of Integral Education and aims at:

• Widening one’s understanding of the power of education and the urgency of evolving ways for refinement of character and the mind.
• Understanding the basic concepts of Integral Education.
• Relating some of the concepts to one’s own progress, work and social change.

1. Our Need and Demand from Education (10 days, 1 credit)
2. The Integral Approach to Education (10 days, 1 credit)
3. The Integral Teacher (10 days, 1 credit)
4. The First Essentials & Classroom Implications (10 days, 1 credit)
5. From Action to Reflection (20 days, 2 credits)
   

The course (60 days; 6 Credits) focuses on the practice of Integral Education and encourages the students to evolve their own methodology and application. It aims at:

• Deepening one’s role as an educator and developing a more integral approach.
• Practical application in one’s life and work.

1. Psychic: the Starting Point (10 days, 1 credit)
2. Learning to use One’s Mind (10 days, 1 credit)
3. Understanding Oneself & Others: Dealing with Emotions, Responses & Relationships (10 days, 1 credit)
4. Creating a Sound Physical Basis (10 days, 1 credit)
5. From Reflection to Action: Envisioning, Organising, Actualising (20 days, 2 credits)
